Copyright / DMCA Policy

DRAFT — pending attorney review. Effective date: 2026-07-09 · Version: Draft 1.0 · Last updated: 2026-07-09. Operated by Kanah LLC (Wyoming, USA) for the Troi service (troi.studio, troi.life).

In short: Troi is a private personal and team tool, not a public content platform — so there is little third-party content to police. Still, if you believe material stored in Troi infringes your copyright, you can send us a notice and we will respond. To keep our safe harbor under the U.S. DMCA, we maintain a registered agent and a repeat-infringer policy.

1. Reporting claimed infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and believe content stored or made available through Troi infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes the six elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., the workspace, URL, or file).
  4. Your contact information (address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

2. Designated Agent

Send notices to our DMCA Designated Agent:

  • Kanah LLC — DMCA Agent
  • Email: info@kanah.app
  • Address: 1603 Capitol Avenue, Suite 413A, #2280, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA
  • [[FOUNDER: register this Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office ($6, renewed every 3 years) — required for safe-harbor protection]]

3. Counter-notification

If your material was removed or disabled and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the Designated Agent containing the elements required by §512(g)(3) (your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake; your contact information; and consent to jurisdiction). If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

4. Repeat infringers

Consistent with §512(i), we will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. Misrepresentations

Under §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages.

6. Non-U.S. notices

For claims outside the U.S., contact info@kanah.app. We handle notices in good faith regardless of jurisdiction; the formal DMCA process above is U.S.-specific.
